I am currently recruiting for a leading Lloyd's Syndicate who are seeking a Senior Claims Adjuster to join their growing Claims team.
My client is looking for a strong Claims professional with experience across multiple lines of business including Property, Energy, Construction, Marine, Aviation, Treaty, Financial Lines & More. Experience working for a reinsurer and handling Claims in the Middle East and African regions are a big bonus for this role. Key Responsibilities
Take full responsibility for your assigned claims, managing each case from the initial report of loss to resolution. Ensure claims are resolved within designated timelines and KPIs, while keeping stakeholders regularly informed about the status of their claims. Maintain up-to-date records and files for all claims to facilitate the efficient and timely preparation of monthly claims reports. Support internal and external reporting efforts, including providing ad hoc updates as needed. Address and resolve claims inquiries from both external and internal sources promptly. Cultivate, develop, and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams (Underwriting, Operations, Finance, Actuarial) and external partners (clients, brokers, CPS) to ensure a consistently high level of service. Comply with your personal authority limits, seeking approval for any amounts that exceed these limits as needed. Keep management informed of any potential issues with specific claims and ensure that any matters requiring escalation are addressed swiftly and appropriately. Collaborate with third-party adjusters and other external service providers, ensuring that claims are handled in accordance with the companies claims philosophy.
