Are you an experienced Claims Insights Analyst ready to take the next step in your career? Join our expanding team as a Senior Claims Insights Analyst and play a pivotal role in producing high-quality analysis and insights on our claims activity. This is an opportunity to leverage your expertise to support, challenge, and influence a wide and senior stakeholder group, contributing to the creation of a strong team identity and a reputation for delivering first-class insights. At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least 40% of your week away from home, moving to the majority of your working week from September 2025. Away from home means either attendance at our Tunbridge Wells, Bristol or Bournemouth offices, visiting clients or attending industry events. What you’ll be doing: Present findings and recommendations, from analysis and expert input, to stakeholders, including Executive Directors and group functions. Provide expert support and challenge to business area leads, in the development and performance monitoring of claims initiatives. Be a key contributor to the continual improvement of the library of tools and resources used for reporting, claims analysis, and the methods of communication. Ensure best practice analysis approaches and ways of working within the team, whilst challenging conventional thinking on what’s possible. Establish strong relationships with stakeholders across the business. Coaching and mentoring of more junior Claims Insights Analysts. What you’ll bring: Degree in STEM subject or equivalent qualification in relevant field such as Business, Finance, Statistics. Extensive experience working in analytics, with a focus on benchmarking, business intelligence and analytical modelling. Competent in using analytical tools such as Excel, SQL, Python and in particular, Power BI and Databricks. Strong background in advanced analytics and performance management with outstanding analytical skills. Experienced in effectively conveying complex information to diverse audiences. Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders to build consensus and achieve common goals. Proven track record of improving operational processes and outcomes, especially in a claims environment. Skilled in working at speed, under pressure in an agile environment, with a high aptitude for problem solving and root cause analysis. Ability to give explanation of data points, open to challenge and adept in objection handling. Experience in healthcare or insurance industries would be advantageous. As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
