Senior Clinic Coordinator Overview of Role The role holder will take the lead for clinic coordinator working closely with colleagues in operations and other support functions to ensure clients’ needs are well understood and that the Alliance Clinical Services proposition represents the insourcing solution to meet the clients current and future needs. The role will work in close collaboration with the client’s leadership team to ensure the team can continually receive high quality insourcing services and delivery whilst maintaining optimal operational efficiency and effectiveness. Key Responsibilities Building and maintaining strong relationships with key customers to ensure customer satisfaction Liaising with hospitals to identify requirement dates and ensuring appropriate staff are available Confirming arrangements with hospitals, Consultants and nurses for future work Booking travel for clinical staff, paying attention to locations/distances and working within policy Maintaining a record of availability for all clinical staff Working with the clinical support team to identify suitable members of clinical staff for contracts Support contractual issues and changes for the client (and other clients if required), working with operational and clinical governance teams as required, always ensuring robust and disciplined change control Carrying out administration tasks where required, including booking patient appointments, sending confirmation letters, carrying out call confirmations Monitoring patient outcomes and ensuring appropriate follow up where required, including processing test results Provide role model leadership to other clinic coordinators, direction and motivation to our service leadership team and their teams ensuring a passion for excellence in delivery to our contract client is shared throughout the organisation Supporting the Operations Manager to implement service improvements Represent Alliance Clinical Services effectively at all levels within the client’s organisation as required Carry out other ad hoc tasks commensurate with level of responsibility as requested by the Chief Operating Officer Occasionally taking part in the on-call telephone rota over weekends and evenings What We’re Looking For: Skills and Experience - Essential Criteria Excellent interpersonal skills, able to engage with credibility and gravitas at any level within Alliance Clinical Services, client and supplier organisations Demonstrable influencing skills, able to adapt style as required to persuade and gain support of stakeholders and drive service improvement Leadership role model, demonstrating values and behaviors expected of senior members of Alliance Clinical Services Strong organisational, planning and time management skills, able to manage competing demands and meet deadlines as required Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to undertake research and data analysis for management reports Strong facilitation and presentation skills Ability to think logically and construct sound, persuasive arguments Resilience and ability to deal with setbacks constructively and work to resolution of issues Able to demonstrate a clear attention to detail, ensuring that all relevant documentation including management reports are accurate, meaningful, easily understood and fit for the purpose for which they are intended Willingness to work out of hours Willingness to travel as required by the business PRINCE 2 or equivalent Experience of insourcing or similar role within healthcare or related fields Why This Role?
