Senior Clinical Fellow Anaesthesia and ITU

This is a Senior Clinical Fellow post based at Barnet and Chase Farm Hospitals (Two Sites). The post holder will take part in a full shift rota covering the Intensive Care/High Dependency unit, obstetrics, and anaesthetics at Barnet Hospital and covering theatres for elective daytime surgery at Chase Farm Hospital. The post will initially be for a term of 12 months, at which time it may be renewed for a further 12 months. During this time you will be treated as a trust trainee and will be mentored and supported for Final FRCA exams if required - however, please note the role is

not

a recognised training post. The post holder will take part in a full shift rota with a total of 31 London Deanery Trainees (15 ST 3+ and 16 CT1/2), other Trust Grades, and MTI trainees. The post holder will cover theatres, Intensive Care/High Dependency Unit, and Obstetrics at Barnet and Chase Farm Hospitals; depending upon the training and experience of the candidate and the requirements of the Department. Main Duties of the Job

Applicants must have at least 18 months experience in the specialty of Anaesthesia at CT 1-2 level (or equivalent) including at least 6 months in the UK and must have GMC registration. Applicants would ideally have passed primary FRCA. About Us
