This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to an innovative, developmental service dedicated to providing high-quality consultation and teaching for professionals and organisations strengthening support for individuals who have experienced complex trauma, often related to sexual exploitation and abuse. We are a small specialist multi-disciplinary team and we value the contribution that differing professions make, working in collaboration. This role is open to applicants across a number of disciplines including social workers, mental health nurses, occupational therapists, clinical psychologists, or psychoanalytic psychotherapists, with a solid background in complex trauma and adult mental health. The post holder will be supported to develop a portfolio of work linked to their interests and skills in relation to complex trauma, educating staff and promoting organizational resilience in this area. While this is primarily a non-patient role focused on staff and system support, where applicable, the post holder may contribute and develop their direct clinical expertise in trauma through an indicative case load in a defined mental health team by agreement.
