To be a key advisor in discharging the Council’s Coast Protection function. To explore, initiate and deliver capital and revenue Coast Protection schemes whilst working with affected communities to promote good coastal defence practice within the District. To represent Arun on external stakeholder groups, building relationships and delivering effective Beach Management & Shoreline Planning. Where necessary, to input into the planning system to ensure appropriate development in areas of erosion risk.
