Job Description We are seeking an experienced
Comic Artist
to work on one of the biggest Metaverse projects ever
Seedworld
on Unreal 5.2+.
The Comic Artist at Seedworld Studios will be instrumental in visualizing and creating the art that brings our stories to life. This role demands a deep understanding of the art of comics, including character creation, environmental design, and the ability to convey story through visuals. We are searching for someone with a passion for comics and the artistic prowess to create compelling visual narratives that resonate with our diverse audience.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Branding team to visualize and storyboard scripts, ensuring the artwork complements the narrative's vision.
Produce engaging and high-quality comic pages, including penciling, inking, and coloring.
Design distinctive characters, settings, and props that enhance Seedworld Studios' varied story universes.
Work with the Art team to refine and enhance artwork based on constructive feedback.
Uphold the highest standards of quality and consistency throughout our comic series.
Adhere to timelines and efficiently manage workload.
Remain abreast of current trends and techniques in comic art and integrate innovative approaches into your work.
Skills & Requirements Required Qualifications:
A portfolio demonstrating excellent comic book art capabilities, including character and environment design, as well as sequential art.
Proficiency with traditional and digital art tools and software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Clip Studio Paint).
A solid grasp of anatomy, perspective, and composition.
Versatility in adapting or creating various art styles to suit different project needs.
Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate well within a team setting.
A genuine enthusiasm for comics, storytelling, and the creative ethos of Seedworld Studios.
Previous professional experience in comic book art or related fields is preferred.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
