What We're Looking For:
Proven experience in commercial projects, ideally within fit-out. Expertise in cost management across multiple projects with a combined value of up to GBP10 million. Strong leadership skills to guide and mentor a team of Quantity Surveyors. Skills, Attributes, and Qualifications:
Academic Background: A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field. Membership with a recognised professional body such as RICS or CIOB (MRICS or equivalent preferred). Comprehensive knowledge of construction contracts, particularly JCT. Proficiency in industry-standard tools like CostX, Bluebeam, or Procore. Advanced analytic skills for estimating, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling. Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
