Churchill Howard are currently partnering with a well-known business in Herefordshire to recruit a Senior Commercial Finance Manager. This role will lead a small team in the delivery of commercial finance support, FP&A and management accounting for the business.
Responsibilities will include: Acting as business partner to senior stakeholders in key business areas Delivering analysis to support decision making Identifying opportunities and risks for commercial benefit Preparation of budgets and forecasts and supporting budget owners Drive data led decision making and enhance the use of data to this effect Conducting investment appraisals and supporting contract negotiations Overseeing the production of management accounts and associated monthly board reporting / commentary
The successful person will have: A recognised UK accounting qualification (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) Relevant experience in commercial finance roles Leadership capabilities to manage, lead and develop others Strong communication skills to support team and business stakeholders Strong competency with financial systems
