Gleeson Recruitment Group are working exclusively in partnership with a high-growth and progressive business in Staffordshire, who are looking to appoint a Senior Commercial Finance Manager, in a newly created role.
As the Senior Commercial Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving financial performance and strategic decision-making. You will collaborate closely with senior leadership to ensure financial goals are met and exceeded.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning & Analysis: Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes for the business units.
Performance Management: Monitor and analyse financial performance against strategic initiatives and KPIs, providing actionable insights to drive profitability.
Commercial Support: Partner with operational teams to optimise financial outcomes, identify opportunities for cost efficiencies, and support pricing strategies.
Investment Appraisal: Evaluate investment opportunities and support decision-making on capital investments and projects.
Reporting & Compliance: Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, adhering to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Qualifications:
A recognised accountancy qualification - ACA, ACCA or CIMA
Proven experience in a senior finance role within corporate business.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable strategies.
Proven line management experience
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
Strategic mindset with a track record of driving financial performance and delivering results
