Supporting programme development in the production of early budgetary estimates. Developing effective business relationships with portfolio team members in supporting the attainment of team objectives. Developing effective business relationships with stakeholders in ensuring adoption of functional quantity surveying best practice in the delivery of portfolios. Providing functional quantity surveying expertise and support to the wider programme delivery businesses. Undertaking reviews of contract adherence across programme delivery. Undertaking contract compliance audits. Supporting the commercial function in the evaluation of, and negotiation of tenders, contract changes and compensation events. Providing support for development of preliminary, initial and main gate business case submissions. Providing senior management with appropriate reports to support decision making. Acting as contract specific quantity surveying functional expert in all aspects of price validation and agreement, including dispute resolution. You'll need to have:

RICS membership or equivalent of substantial years' experience of using NEC form of contract. You are digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships and lead strong, motivated teams. Construction or project management background and be hungry to grow your career and enjoy the opportunities Mace has to offer.
