Wills Bros are currently hiring a Senior Commercial Manager based in Dublin who will be responsible for overseeing all commercial aspects of a major civil engineering project that is about to commence, ensuring that financial and contractual management is handled efficiently and effectively. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in commercial management within the civil engineering sector and a comprehensive knowledge of NEC contracts. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership and negotiation skills to manage and optimize the financial performance of our projects. Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the administration and management of the NEC contract, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and conditions. Provide expert advice on contract terms, conditions, and obligations. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders. Lead and mentor a team of commercial professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Prepare and present regular commercial reports to senior management. Monitor project budgets, forecasts, and financial reports, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project objectives. Key Requirements:

A degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 12 years of experience in Commercial Management within the Civil Engineering or Construction industry. Extensive knowledge and experience with NEC contracts. Proven track record of managing large-scale civil engineering projects. Professional accreditation (e.g. SCSI, RICS, CIOB) is highly desirable. Strong financial acumen and experience with budget management and cost control. Personal Attributes:
