Coordinate the development and delivery of communications plans through matrix working, drawing upon the expertise of specialist functions across Communications and making sure activity is regularly evaluated. Work with colleagues from across the business to become a “subject matter expert” of your region, our role in it and the benefits we bring to customers, business, and communities. Horizon scan for potential reputational risks and opportunities, working with regional directors and senior leadership teams, to develop plans and processes to mitigate these. Work with project, programme and supply chain teams to deliver high quality, engaging communications supporting our core campaigns. A team worker, able to work in fast-moving, high-pressure environments. Ability to build trusted relationships with colleagues and external bodies to meet strategic communications objectives. Develop communications strategies for key corporate publications and reports. Excellent writing and briefing skills, including designing and delivering presentations, and an awareness of different communication channels traditional and digital, including social media.
