About the Role - Collaborate with the Compensation Manager to design and implement the annual pay and bonus review, presenting recommendations to senior stakeholders throughout the organisation. Assist in the creation of pay policies, reward strategies, and innovative compensation programs that align with business objectives. Build and maintain strong relationships with teams such as Payroll, Finance, People Operations, and Workday to ensure the accuracy and relevance of reward data. Oversee the submission of salary surveys, ensuring they are completed accurately and on time. Conduct research and analysis of internal and external salary data to establish benchmarks and provide recommendations for recruitment and compensation in accordance with reward policies. Manage the job evaluation and levelling process, ensuring effective communication and accurate record-keeping. Take a key role in conducting Equal Pay Audits and Pay Gap reporting. Provide daily support for employee inquiries related to compensation and recognition. Assist in managing colleague recognition programs, including system administration, reporting, and activities related to recognition. Develop internal communication materials for compensation initiatives, such as briefings for managers and guidance for employees. Stay informed about legal regulations and industry trends in compensation and recognition and recommend necessary updates. Support the management of company-wide recognition programs to ensure they run efficiently and effectively. Implement risk and control measures relevant to your area. Keep HR systems (Workday) updated with accurate information, including job profiles, salaries, and bonuses. Lead or assist in additional reward projects as required.

Qualifications - Extensive experience managing annual reward cycles and developing complex pay models


Required


  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., IF, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP,) and Pivot Tables for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Expertise in job analysis, survey analysis, and pricing strategies.
  • Strong skills in managing and analysing large data sets.
  • Knowledge of job evaluation and benchmarking methodologies.
  • Proven stakeholder management experience, with the ability to influence and collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of reward best practices and recognition strategies.
  • Experience advising on compensation queries and policies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail capabilities.
  • Ability to adapt and work proactively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experienced in managing data on Workday.
  • Excellent relationship-building and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to generate insights and develop thoughtful solutions to challenges.
