DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business, is seeking a Senior Compliance Controller to play a vital role coordinating our daily transport requirements.
WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will: Carry out audit checks on sites daily, weekly, and monthly. Ensure sites manage the legal requirements of the business including MOT, road tax, servicing, tachograph checks, and all relevant fridge calibrations and breakdowns. Effectively manage site overheads and supplier management regarding costs. Deliver a safe, secure, and fair work environment for team members while ensuring that the site maintains the standards required for passing the HSMS audit. Liaise with workshops to ensure all service schedules are met and defects repaired and documented accordingly, travelling between (and up to) 5 customer sites in the West Midlands. Manage a team of 1 fleet controller. Minimum Requirements:
International CPC desired. Compliance knowledge. People management experience is highly advantageous. Full driving license and access to a private vehicle are essential. Fleet management/transport experience within a logistics & supply chain environment is essential. Computer literate with MS packages. Benefits:
