Your team Reporting to the Head of Operational Compliance, the Senior Compliance Manager will play a meaningful role supporting the business in its key regulated jurisdiction, the UK and Ireland. Acting as a Deputy, the role will be responsible for all second line assurance services and day-to-day operational BAU, compliance advisory, and incident management. You will lead a team of Compliance Managers, each leading Compliance Officers. We are looking for an experienced people manager and regulatory authority, who has a consistent record of leading and developing a high-performance team. The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment, able to prioritize workload and keep up with change. They will have strong communication, influencing, and stakeholder leadership skills. What you’ll do Line Management: You will line lead two Compliance Managers and teams of Compliance Officers. You are a manager who develops their team and supports their wellbeing. Ensure that our mock assessments, high-risk customer reviews, and monthly checks are delivered to a high quality on time, producing appropriate reporting and documentation. Ensure appropriate actions are set to mitigate risks identified within assurance activities, and that these actions are delivered. You will act as a trusted advisor to the Customer Operations teams and facilitate regular and scheduled leveling and feedback sessions to ensure continuous improvement through our Compliance processes. Independently review and respond to critical issues where Operational and Compliance Managers are unable to find consensus. You will ensure that appropriate Compliance advice is provided on changes to controls and automation or updates to guidance, process, training, and associated customer-facing support pages. As changes are made, you will ensure that high-risk changes have been appropriately tested and are operating as expected. You will be a point of contact for critical issues for operational queries or customer accounts – including high-risk complaints. Handle customer-impacting incidents in a timely manner, ensuring appropriate remediation and record keeping.
