About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Compliance, you will lead the Compliance Monitoring team and implement the annual Compliance Monitoring Plan. Your role includes monitoring compliance activities, identifying risks, and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Accountabilities
Team Leadership:
Guide the compliance monitoring team to deliver an effective programme.
Strategic Planning:
Develop and implement compliance monitoring plans.
Audits:
Conduct regular audits to ensure regulatory adherence.
Reporting:
Present detailed reports and MI to the Assurance Director, committees, and management.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Regulatory Updates:
Stay updated on regulatory changes to keep our framework agile. Skills and Experience Proven experience in compliance monitoring and auditing within financial services. Strong understanding of regulatory requirements. Excellent leadership and management skills. Analytical mindset with risk identification and mitigation abilities. Strong communication and report-writing skills. Relevant qualifications in compliance or a related field preferred. Benefits
