Due to our continued growth and investment in compliance across Flutter UK&I, we are searching for a Senior Compliance Officer to join our award-winning Compliance function.

Reporting into the Product and Technical Compliance Manager, the Senior Compliance Officer will play a key role and support the day-to-day activities of the team, champion and protect the delivery of our regulatory requirements and ensure adherence to the Gambling Commission's Remote Gambling and Software Technical Standards ("RTS") across all Flutter UK&I brands.

The Flutter UK&I Technical Compliance Team is responsible for providing advice, support and embedding key compliance principles across all Flutter UK&I brands to ensure that all technical and product regulatory requirements are met. The team also undertakes regular testing of products and key business processes to ensure continued adherence to all relevant regulatory requirements and technical standards.

What you'll do

Support your manager in the design and delivery of the RTS roadmap, control framework and policy implementation across applicable brands. Play a key role in ensuring the business meets new and existing regulatory requirements, especially in relation to RTS and the Gambling Act Review. Support in monitoring activities to ensure key compliance controls operate effectively. Assist in the interpretation of regulations, creating and updating relevant policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legislative requirements across all Flutter UKI brands. Be seen as a Subject Matter Authority and provide accurate support and advice to the business on all matters relating to RTS. Identify and advance regulatory breaches, and work with key stakeholders to ensure timely resolution. Ensure Technical Compliance and all appropriate requirements are embedded in relevant business projects, working closely with Product Owners to understand roadmaps and plan resource accordingly.

How you'll do it

Knowledge of the Gambling Commission's regulatory requirements, relevant regulation, and laws. Experience working in Compliance, Audit or Risk, preferably within the gambling industry. Effective organisational skills and ability to prioritise. Ability to work independently, under pressure and to set deadlines. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to take ownership of business projects and lead projects in a team environment and with business customers. Handle evolving deadlines effectively with regular feedback and updates. Enthusiasm and aim to take ownership and drive process initiatives. Excellent interpersonal and communications skills. Ability to communicate with Senior Management. Previous line management experience is beneficial.
