What the role involves

• Supporting the development and ongoing maintenance of the Bank’s compliance framework, monitoring activities, and regulatory approach, helping to ensure key risks are identified, m.
• Providing Compliance SME support across projects and regulatory matters, including Conduct and Prudential topics, while contributing to policy updates, regulatory change initiative.
• Carrying out and supporting compliance monitoring reviews, thematic assessments, and sample testing to assess adherence to regulatory requirements and good customer outcomes.
• Support the production of MI and reporting for senior management, committees, and regulators.
• Advanced understanding of home purchase plan products (inc. Secured financing), and.
• Process your personal data for the purpose of providing recruitment and related HR services, in line with our legitimate business interests and legal obligations.

Skills and requirements

• Helping to promote a strong culture of compliance and regulatory awareness across the Bank, including supporting the Bank’s responsibilities under the Senior Managers & Certificati.
• Sound knowledge of regulatory standards and frameworks.
• Experience providing 2nd Line of Defence compliance oversight, including advisory support and challenge to 1LOD.
• CeMAP would be desirable, but not essential.
