Senior Computer Aided Design Technician

You will play a key role within a Civil Engineering design team responsible for the design of drainage systems, highway layouts, and S278/S38 schemes. More specifically: Work in a design environment with regular exposure to developers, architects and local authorities Draft and contribute to the design in accordance with the appropriate UK standards and codes Draft and contribute to the design of foundations and structures in accordance with relevant UK codes of practice Sound knowledge of UK building regulations Be responsible for the production of consistent high-quality drawing packages, considering specific client requirements Provide technical input and support for reports and technical notes Co-operate with the Quality Management System through adhering to approval processes and undertaking administrative activities Carry the company brand and reputation through business development and marketing input - Coordinate accurately with all other disciplines including face to face meetings Review and approve third-party drawings Control flow of design information for specific projects You will have To be successful as Senior CAD Technician, you will have at least 4+ years’ experience in a similar position.
