The Senior Construction Delivery Manager will support the delivery of an area within a specific section of the Works. This responsibility extends to all construction and related activities, reporting to the Area Construction Lead and includes logistics planning and implementation in collaboration with the site wide logistics team, programming and planning, monitoring and close out of authorities' obligations and conditions and client liaison. Your Duties and Responsibilities will be

Act as a subject matter expert in their area of expertise (civil or MEH), supporting the contract partners in their delivery of the works packages to enable efficient and timely delivery of their sections of works. Provide support to the Construction Delivery Managers by recommending temporary measures to mitigate safety and/or quality concerns. Drive works on site and ensure contractor performance is in line with the agreed programme. Escalate concerns to the Area Construction Lead and provide solutions to recover/mitigate. Review the construction daily site logs to ensure information is reported to the required level of detail and escalate any issues/concerns via detailed reports. Proactively communicate/co-ordinate with site functions (H&S, quality, surveillance, commercial, project controls, logistics) and other Senior Construction Delivery Managers to maintain good communication links. Attend pre-start briefings and support the delivery of key messages to the contractor's organisation. You will have the following Qualifications & Experience

Degree qualified in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or Construction management, or equivalent vocational training and experience. SMSTS or IOSH qualification holder. Experience and knowledge in delivering projects with multiple stakeholders, including optioneering, construction sequencing, recovery planning and resource allocation. Good understanding of the postholder's obligations under the CDM Regulations. Able to write informative, concise and meaningful reports and present the findings in a professional way to peers and senior managers. Experienced in motivating and energising contract partners by building an environment of trust and understanding. Collaborate with other managers, providing leadership to effectively manage site operations. Adopt a results-focused mindset, using initiative and taking personal responsibility and accountability to ensure necessary action is taken to deliver excellence, value and quality. Get in touch now
