We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Consultant to join our Real Estate Consulting team in locations across the UK (London, Birmingham, Bristol, Leeds, Sheffield, Manchester, Newcastle, Glasgow and Edinburgh). As a Senior Consultant specialising in the defence industry, you will play a critical role in providing strategic advice, writing business cases, and developing estate strategies for our public sector clients in the United Kingdom. Responsibilities:

Collaborate with public sector clients to understand their requirements and develop tailored real estate strategies and estate optimisation plans for defence clients. Conduct in-depth research, analysis, and feasibility studies to support the development of business cases and estate strategies. Provide expert guidance and advice to clients on the latest industry trends, regulations, and best practices within the defence sector. Lead and manage multidisciplinary project teams, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality deliverables. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, industry partners, and clients. Actively contribute to business development efforts by identifying opportunities, participating in client presentations, and preparing proposals. Minimum Requirements:

2-5 years' experience in a consulting role, with a focus on the Defence Industry, within a consultancy or a public sector organisation. Strong knowledge of the UK Defence Industry, including an understanding of relevant legislation, policies, and procurement processes. Proven track record of successfully writing Business Cases and/or developing estate strategies for complex construction projects and programmes in the defence sector. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to provide strategic insights and recommendations. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse stakeholders. Demonstrated leadership abilities are desirable, including experience in managing teams and delivering projects on time and within budget. Strong client management and relationship-building skills, with a customer-focused approach. Relevant degree in Real Estate, Construction Management, or a related field (postgraduate qualification is desirable). At Turner & Townsend we're passionate about making the difference.
