Turner & Townsend is currently recruiting for Security Cleared (or able to become Security Cleared) Senior Consultants to join our Assets & Facilities Management Team.

Our Assets & Facilities Management team help clients to manage their real estate assets in the most effective and efficient way. We turn complex and critical real estate issues into opportunities for transformation, growth, and long-term resilience. We leverage data, analytics, and subject matter expertise to help clients make evidence-based decisions to better manage, control and improve the performance of their real estate assets to support the delivery of corporate goals.

We are seeking individuals with a keen interest, experience, and knowledge in Corporate Real Estate and/or Facilities Management supported by strong programme, project, and stakeholder management expertise to join a client-facing, professional and ambitious team who serve defence sector clients.

Responsibilities & Behaviours

Previous experience in consultancy and delivery within defence sector is essential.

A cooperative team member supporting senior team members in the successful delivery of projects.

Capable of independently completing tasks and projects and taking responsibility for your own time management and ability to work towards overall project timescales and potentially tight deadlines.

Expected to support senior team members in business generation activities where required, such as bid writing and developing marketing material.

Capable of building strong, professional client relationships and identifying and resolving client’s issues.

Able to analyse information quickly and efficiently, choose or recommend from a range of options and make decisions where the parameters are unclear, and judgement needs to be exercised.

Capable of preparing concise reports with compelling and engaging narratives.

Leading the establishment of the overall success criteria for the project, including time, cost, technical and performance parameters.

Establishing effective project governance, processes, and systems to be utilised throughout project.

Monitoring and applying performance management techniques, including the use of KPI’s to improve project performance.

Managing the flow of project information between the team and the client, through regular meetings and written communications.

Commercially astute and have the ability to manage a project to maximise profit.

Minimum three years’ experience in a consultancy and delivery role.

Full time (with flexible working opportunities and home working).

Willingness to travel / stay overnight stay.

Security Cleared or able to become Security Cleared (UK Security Cleared).

PRINCE2 qualifications or experience is desirable.

Location - M4 Corridor, South West, North West and Glasgow.

Person Specification

Experience in project and programme management such as Prince2 or similar.

Client relationship management (including internal clients).

Experience in a consultancy and delivery role.

Consultancy and delivery experience.

Report writing and evidence-based decision making.

Leadership and Management training.

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a consultancy and delivery role.

Consultancy and delivery experience within a defence/security setting.

Corporate real estate and/or facilities management experience.
