My client, a market leading multidisciplinary Civil and Environmental Consultancy, is searching for a Senior Hydrologist to join their innovative Team. This role offers hybrid working from Oxford.
Essential Requirements: Strong academic background in Hydrology, Civil or Water Engineering. Experience working for a UK based Consultancy or Water Company. Experience in mathematical modelling, water quality modelling, hydrological assessments. Coding experience using Python and R.
Beneficial Experience: Specialisation in coding.
This exciting opportunity will allow candidates to work on catchment management, nutrient neutrality, hydrology, and water quality projects for Local Authorities, Water Companies, and Government Bodies. You will be expected to develop new and existing software for flood risk, flood estimation, water quality, and water resources.
Responsibilities include: Completing catchment management plans. Conducting nutrient neutrality assessments. Performing water quality assessments. Water Quality Modelling using Qube. Flood Estimation. Coding using Python and R. Software development to amend and improve flood estimation and water modelling software.
