We are seeking a Senior Consultant to work in our Real Estate Consulting (REC) team based in Glasgow. We work with health and social care clients nationally to identify and test the feasibility of real estate investment opportunities, helping clients to build up the case for change and make the best real estate investment decisions. SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable. The successful applicant will ideally have experience in planning and developing healthcare estate and infrastructure projects and programmes. In addition, you will have supported the development of healthcare estate strategies and authored business cases using the HM Treasury 5 case model. You will have a robust understanding of the business case development stages from Project Initiation to Full Business Case. You & Your Background

We are seeking an individual who is highly motivated, flexible and who has excellent communication skills. You will be able to engage with clients at all levels and be passionate about nurturing such relationships. Specifically, you will: Be experienced in the preparation of business cases (SOC / OBC / FBC), estate / property strategies, property target operating models, and change management. Hold a relevant real estate industry qualification or experience. Have experience in a client-side and consultancy environment. Have exceptional interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence. Have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be confident in managing client relationships. Be financially literate, with a good commercial understanding and financial analysis capability. Have the ability to understand and combine commercial, strategic, and operational perspectives. Be persuasive and not afraid to challenge, debate and influence key decisions. Demonstrate programme management, project management, capital projects and contract management skills. Be competent in the handling of data sets and analysing/presenting data to evidence proposed solutions. Be a team player, collaborative and confident with others and ability to remain calm under pressure. Have the flexibility to travel as and when required, plus also to work in new sectors or environments. Hold a relevant professional qualification: Bachelor's degree. Have a Project Management Qualification e.g. Prince 2 or MSP or equivalent relevant experience. Have Business Case Writing Skills or equivalent relevant experience. Have previous experience of working collaboratively and managing change across multi-disciplinary teams. Possess project management planning and organisational skills, including the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Have knowledge of the HM Treasury 5 case model and experience of supporting business case authoring and development. Able to demonstrate experience of working with large and complex datasets. Exhibit excellent interpersonal, persuasion and influencing skills. Able to work flexibly and adapt to suit the changing requirements of the project. Possess excellent communication skills, both written and oral, including presentation skills. Able to prioritise and manage own workload with minimal supervision. Have a clear understanding of good practice data management procedures. Desirable

Relevant Industry qualification - Surveying, Engineering, Financial, Accounting. Evidence of continuing professional development. Better Business Case Accreditation. Experience of Strategic infrastructure programmes in large/complex organisations. Experience of working as a project manager level in Health or Social Care services. Ability to lead and develop Business Case for major capital investment opportunities. Demonstrate initiative and resilience to deal with challenges and resistance. Able to use data (e.g. MS Excel, Power BI) to deliver perceptive and well-supported analysis which can be used to drive evidence-based solutions to complex issues.
