Join us, we’re an Investors in People Silver Standard Company To oversee and manage the delivery of grounds maintenance contracts, ensuring services are provided to high-quality standards, within budget, and in compliance with contractual agreements. The role involves liaising with clients, managing operational teams, and ensuring regulatory compliance in all aspects of grounds maintenance work. Key Responsibilities Contract Management:

Oversee the execution of multiple grounds maintenance contracts. Ensure compliance with contractual terms, service level agreements, and key performance indicators. Prepare, monitor, and manage budgets associated with each contract. Conduct regular site visits to ensure work meets agreed standards. Price extra works.

Client Relationship Management:

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients. Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction. Provide regular updates and performance reports to clients.

Team Leadership:

Manage and support operational teams, including supervisors and grounds maintenance staff. Ensure staff are trained, equipped, and motivated to deliver high-quality services. Conduct performance reviews and address any personnel issues.

Operational Oversight:

Plan and schedule work to optimize efficiency and minimize disruption to clients. Monitor resource allocation, including equipment, vehicles, and materials. Ensure adherence to health and safety protocols, including conducting risk assessments.

Quality Assurance and Improvement:

Implement and monitor quality control measures to ensure service standards are met. Identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to address them. Stay updated on industry trends and innovations to enhance service delivery.

Compliance and Reporting:

Ensure compliance with environmental, legal, and regulatory requirements. Maintain accurate records and prepare detailed reports for both internal and external use. Handle incident investigations and reporting where necessary.

Key Skills and Competencies Essential:

Strong knowledge of grounds maintenance operations and horticultural practices. Excellent contract management and negotiation skills. Proven leadership and team management capabilities. Ability to manage budgets and financial performance. Proficiency in using industry-specific software and reporting tools. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Desirable:

Knowledge of sustainability and environmental practices in grounds maintenance. Experience with public sector contracts or working in a similar environment. Familiarity with ISO standards or other quality frameworks.

Qualifications and Experience Proven experience in a similar role. Full UK driving license.
