Newport . Responsibilities Contract Administration and Management:

Oversee the preparation, negotiation, and execution of contracts with clients, contractors, and subcontractors. Ensure that all terms and conditions are adhered to throughout the project lifecycle, from design to completion, and manage any necessary contract amendments or extensions. Risk Management and Mitigation:

Identify potential legal and contractual risks, including disputes, claims, or changes in scope, and develop strategies to mitigate these risks. Ensure that appropriate clauses, such as force majeure or penalty clauses, are included in contracts to protect the project's interests. Cost Control and Financial Management:

Monitor and control financial aspects of contracts, including managing budgets, reviewing invoices, and approving payments. Ensure that all payments are made in accordance with the contract terms, and track any variations or claims related to costs or delays. Dispute Resolution and Claims Management:

Manage any disputes or claims that arise during the project, including those related to delays, cost overruns, or scope changes. Work to resolve issues through negotiation, mediation, or, if necessary, legal action. Ensure that all claims are properly documented and addressed in a timely manner. Change Management and Scope Control:

Oversee the management of contract variations and changes in scope, ensuring that all amendments are agreed upon and documented. Assess the impact of changes on the project schedule and budget, and negotiate the terms of any changes with stakeholders to avoid project disruptions. Legal and Regulatory Compliance:

Ensure that all contracts and project activities comply with local laws, regulations, and industry standards. Work closely with legal teams to address any legal concerns and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, as well as other relevant legal requirements. Requirements Data Centre experience is required Must have 5+ years of experience in a similar role Must be able to travel Benefits £140,000 per annum + Package
