Candidate Profile - Senior Construction Contracts Manager Salary Band:

£70,000 - £80,000 + Package Qualifications and Experience:

Must come from main contractor background (SME preferred) Proven track record in public-sector construction projects Currently operating at senior/head of contracts level Demonstrable experience in framework delivery Strong presence in Wales/West Midlands construction sector preferred Minimum 8 years in construction contract management Must demonstrate projects delivered ahead of programme Strong history of maintaining project margins Experience with public sector frameworks NEC4 and JCT contract expertise Track record of successful supply chain management Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously History of implementing process improvements Technical Skills:

Expert understanding of construction contracts Strong commercial and contractual awareness Advanced understanding of public sector procurement Proficient with construction management software Ability to analyse and improve project performance Qualifications:

MCIOB preferred Degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or related field Full UK driving licence Personal Attributes:

Strong leadership capabilities Excellent communication skills at all levels Strategic thinker with commercial acumen Results-driven with a proven track record Ambitious with director-level potential Key Differentiators to Look For:

Evidence of early project completion History of cost savings/margin improvements Experience with Welsh Government frameworks Track record of process improvement Strong client relationships in public sector Items of Concern:

Limited public sector experience Purely residential/private sector background Additional Requirements:

Must be able to travel throughout Wales/West Midlands Current framework experience to be detailed in CV References from public sector clients preferred 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
