On behalf of my client, a leading Aerospace and Defence Electronics organisation based in Rochdale I am pleased to present the opportunity for a Senior Contracts Officer on a permanent basis. This is a busy and challenging, yet extremely exciting role, which will offer the successful candidate an opportunity to work on multiple, complex multi-stream opportunities simultaneously. The Senior Contracts Officer will be responsible for co-ordinating the bids team with the relevant service / product / business knowledge required to prepare and manage winning an opportunity and creating highly quality bids. This role is end to end covering bid preparation and submission as well as contract management through the programme execution. You will be responsible for: Preparing the commercial aspects of bids Working with the Estimating officer as required with regards to the pricing aspects of each bid Ensuring the timely submission of bids Taking ownership of the end-to-end bid process Producing high quality final bid documents within defined tender deadlines Providing commercial support to the business development team to assist with the securing of new opportunities with existing and new customer base You : Qualified to Higher level in Business or associated discipline and/or previous experience in an opportunity, sales, bid environment for complex bids Strong commercial acumen with understanding of terms and conditions Ability to communicate and influence at multiple levels within the organisation Strong MS Office skills The package: You'll receive a very competitive salary (£££ offered depends on level of experience), an early Friday finish and other benefits including pension, life assurance and 25 days' (plus bank holidays).
