My client is a well-established engineering company that specialises in producing innovative production machinery for the automotive, food processing and electronics industry sectors. As a Senior Controls Engineer, your role will focus on interpret the customer's technical requirements, PLC & HMI programming and assist with the electronic/electrical systems.
Senior Controls Engineer Responsibilities;
Interpret customers technical specifications and produce detailed controls design that will meet those requirements.
Assist with electrical systems design and PLC programme the systems
Provide technical support to clients and the wider engineering team
Fault find and repair PLCs
Assist with the commissioning of multifunctional machinery
Senior Controls Engineer Experience;
Degree, HNC, HND, Apprenticeship or equivalent qualification in Electrical Design
Must be competent in PLC and HMI programming - Omron, Siemens and Rockwell preferred
Experienced in working in a Controls Engineer position
Experience working on automated machinery would be advantageous
Must be a team payer
This role as a Senior Controls Engineer is based in Worcester and commutable from Kidderminster, Malvern, Droitwich, Redditch, Bromsgrove and Hereford.
