A competitive salary of £55,000 p.a. to £80,000 p.a. depending on experience. In addition to your annual salary, you will also receive: Bonus: an annual bonus of up to 15% of your salary for stretch performance. Act as a subject matter expert on the management of HVDC Converter activities supporting our new transmission assets. Ensure the efficiency, effectiveness and sustainability of HVDC Converter solutions. Inspire and influence both internal and external stakeholders to realise acceptable outcomes. Create and support the implementation of an engineering capability growth plan. Account for business risk: time/cost/quality/safety and provide assurance that HVDC Converter engineering activities are within business tolerance. Identify and drive innovation in line with the strategic direction. Lead and shape National Grid’s relationships with key external stakeholders. Establish and maintain a network of thought leaders to establish market trends. About you
Technical authority in area of specialism balancing quality, safety, cost and delivery. Expert knowledge recognised in business area.
