The Senior Corporate Communications Manager will lead strategic communications efforts to strengthen Depop’s brand presence, drive the brand’s corporate narrative and to communicate our mission to make fashion circular. Working closely with executive leadership, marketing, product, and other cross-functional teams, this role will be responsible for positioning Depop’s vision, handling its reputation, and enhancing its profile across key markets. Responsibilities:

Lead all inbound corporate media inquiries Lead in messaging development, executive briefing and counsel for the corporate function Manage and oversee crisis and issues management for Depop Act as counsel for cross-functional partners on communications considerations and best practices for corporate, brand, and policy changes that will impact matters of reputation, working in partnership with Etsy Corporate Comms. Lead the corporate spokesperson programme Be responsible for content for corporate social media accounts with executional support from junior team members Build and implement communications plans for financial reporting and changes to the business Proactively investigate media-worthy stories for Depop, develop key messaging, and pitch to media Handle internal reporting and framework for measuring performance and communicating the success of our corporate communications approach within the business Work cross functionally with the Internal Communications team Requirements

Proven experience working in communications, with a specific focus in corporate communications, ideally at a tech company, social marketplace or e-commerce business growing at scale Strong experience in crisis and issues management Outstanding written and oral communication skills, with an understanding of both customer and media communication Experience in executive profiling Thoughtful, creative approach to storytelling via corporate communications Proficient in the UK/US landscape, some knowledge of the AU media landscape. A natural collaborator with extensive experience in working cross-functionally Strong organisational, project management and analytical skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, adapting quickly and flexibly to change Experience in-house and at an agency a plus Additional Information
