6+ years in a similar role Key Accountabilities Deliver Senior Corrosion Engineering consultancy and support services to the satisfaction of the client. Deliver as part of a multi-disciplined team that is responsible for the safe, efficient, and effective execution of integrity engineering for specified offshore installations. Develop corrosion management strategies and corrosion risk assessments in line with client and external standards. Perform defect assessments, corrosion modelling, remaining life assessments and materials and coating suitability studies. Conduct risk-based inspection and manage corrosion control matrices / integrity management databases. Assign and validate corrosion controls, corrosion loops and corrosion damage mechanisms. Support corrosion control management (chemical injection and microbial analysis) and ensure all issues are suitably addressed. Assess all asset operating parameter changes and support overall integrity strategy. Apply knowledge of international standards and codes NACE, ASME, API and ASTM especially inspection and corrosion standards API-571, API-580, API-570 and API-510. Apply experience and knowledge of offshore installations, oil and gas terminals, and/or pipeline systems in the maintenance of risk-based management strategies from a corrosions/materials viewpoint. Leverage expertise in the field of material selection (metals, non-metallic materials), corrosion principles, metallurgy and welding, corrosion protection, corrosion management, pipework/vessels/pipeline inspection and maintenance in your work day-to-day.
