Senior Court of Protection Solicitor

Job Title: Senior Court of Protection Solicitor Salary: Up to £75,000 Location: Worthing A fantastic opportunity has arisen with my client, a leading law firm based in West Sussex. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Private Client Solicitor or Legal Adviser with particular Court of Protection experience to join a growing Private Client department. We are seeking candidates with 6 to 10 years PQE who are looking to join a highly reputable firm as part of an ambitious growth strategy. We are looking for candidates who are keen to bring value to an already established firm on a Permanent, Fixed Term Contract or Locum basis. Duties include: To handle a caseload of matters relating to the court of protection Working closely with a range of clients to provide fast and pragmatic advice Working with marketing strategies to attract new clients and developing relationships with current clients Assisting in development opportunities internally and externally Working collaboratively with senior team members and delegating appropriate work to junior reports The successful candidate will have: Relevant experience working in a Private Client department Some knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act Ability to manage your workload, knowing when to delegate and when to request additional input, to provide the best client service An understanding of clients as our business partners & the importance of knowing what is key for them A willingness to engage in business development Ambition, leadership capability and vision to work as a team to grow the business Package: Up to £70,000 Excellent benefits Join this highly reputable firm that is one of West Sussex’s largest and oldest legal practices.
