Senior Credit Risk Analyst Admiral Money is expanding, and an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Credit Risk Analyst to join the team. About the role This role sits within our Financial & Credit Risk function where our mission is to provide robust risk management solutions for our three product lines (Unsecured Loans, Motor Finance and Mortgages). You will be a part of the credit policy and oversight team, where you will: Provide independent risk oversight of credit strategies across our three lending portfolios Partner with 1st line credit and pricing teams to ensure lending decisions align with risk appetite and policy Use advanced analytics to conduct deep-dive reviews and identify emerging portfolio trends Shape and enhance credit policies that protect both the business and its customers Lead thematic reviews to ensure consistent application of risk frameworks Assess proposed strategy changes against regulatory requirements and risk appetite Champion robust controls and governance across lending operations What makes this opportunity unique: Multi-product exposure: Develop expertise across three distinct lending sectors Data-driven oversight: Leverage rich datasets to enhance risk monitoring Strategic partnership: Work closely with 1st line teams to optimize risk management Independent influence: Provide crucial second-line challenge and insights Regulatory focus: Ensure compliance with FCA requirements while enabling business growth We're a forward-thinking lender where effective risk management is paramount. Strong SQL coding knowledge and Excel skills. Strong communication skills.
