Senior CT/MRI Radiographer Brighton Hospital | Radiology | Permanent | Part Time Salary - Depending on experience and flexibility to work in other modalities, plus company benefits 20 hours per week (flexible days) Nuffield Health is Britain’s largest not-for-profit healthcare organisation and at Brighton Nuffield Health, we are looking for an exceptional CT/MRI Radiographer with CT Cardiac, CT Colon, MRI Cardiac, and MRI Breast experience. If you lack some experience, our great team will be happy to provide training. As a Senior CT/MRI Radiographer: Work within our busy, friendly Radiology team, using the MRI Siemens SOLA 1.5T and the CT Siemens Go.Top. Undertake CT & MRI examinations without direct supervision, ensuring protocols are followed and seeking advice from Radiologists when required. Supervise and develop junior staff. Perform imaging examinations with respect to patient privacy and dignity, considering their clinical information and physical/mental status. Remain proficient in the use of all equipment used throughout all modalities. Understand local protocols and contribute to referral vetting processes. Ensure equipment is safe and fit for purpose, informing senior staff of any faults. Work with leading practitioners and engage with new practices, equipment, and facilities. The person To succeed as a CT/MRI Radiographer, you will need: A BSc degree in diagnostic radiography or equivalent to meet the registration requirements of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). Competence in IV cannulation and contrast administration. High levels of technical knowledge and the ability to work quickly and accurately, with a keen eye for detail. A caring nature to treat each patient as an individual with understanding and empathy. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
