Job Description:

Reporting into the Principal, Customer & Market Research, the Senior Customer Insight Analyst is part of the wider Risk & Research Proposition team, helping deliver key customer and market insights that various stakeholder teams need to drive growth. Dow Jones Customer Insight Analyst

The Propositions team is responsible for growing Dow Jones’ portfolio of B2B products. Working closely with Proposition, Product Management, Marketing, and other stakeholders, the function explores and delivers a series of new propositions to market. Key Responsibilities Undertake customer and market research covering end-to-end proposition design, from market analysis to supporting business and proposition leaders on business case development. Assist the C&MR team in representing the voice of the customer at senior leadership level to ensure that customer and market intelligence is at the heart of decision-making. Develop strong working relationships within the C&MR team and other functions across the business to deliver tailored and relevant insights. Deliver customer and market research projects, from briefing sessions to execution, including customer recruitment, managing fieldwork, reporting progress, performing QA, and analysis. Undertake thorough desk research and ensure insights are appropriately synthesized. Liaise with external partners, such as research agencies, to ensure world-class service delivery in line with internal standards. Support the Customer & Market Research team lead with workflow planning and budget management. Attributes & Experience

Ability to learn quickly, solve problems creatively, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Thorough understanding of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, with experience in designing discussion guides within a B2B setting. Experience in performing desk research and obtaining insights from publicly available information. Flexibility in responding to changing business priorities and requirements. Proven track record of achieving results in a matrix organization. Willingness to work a minimum of 3 days a week in the London office while being comfortable in a remote working environment. Solid experience in customer and market research, including project management and delivering actionable insights. Capable of managing projects and deadlines effectively and independently. Excellent numeracy and literacy skills, with attention to detail. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Strong presentation skills and the ability to make complex data easy to understand. Proficiency with Google’s suite products (Google Sheets, Google Slides). Experience in the market research industry, either in-house or agency-side. Experience in conducting research and managing teams in B2B markets, ideally within the media and information sectors.
