As the Senior Cyber Business Partner for UK Insurance, you’ll act as a trusted business partner providing risk tailored advice, driving security best practice, and supporting the delivery of cyber and technology risk expertise and guidance to the Bupa UK Insurance business.

What you’ll do:

  1. Lead and coordinate information security assurance and advisory activities across UK Insurance.
  2. Support strategic initiatives, cyber technology changes, cyber projects, technology risk and third-party security risk initiatives.
  3. Work with key business stakeholders to identify and assess their cyber security and technology risks and provide expert guidance on risk mitigation to ensure compliance with internal and external policies, standards, industry best practice, and regulatory requirements.
  4. Shape, develop, and lead a capability to represent the BGUK CISO function at all levels across the Bupa UK Insurance organisation.

What you’ll bring:

  1. Experience in cyber security and technology risk within large, regulated companies.
  2. A track record of designing, operating, and governing security risk and control frameworks.
  3. Knowledgeable in capacity planning, business continuity, cloud, threat intelligence, encryption, access control, data loss protection, vulnerability management, security operations, and awareness training.
  4. Skilled in managing stakeholders, building credibility, and maintaining trust.
  5. Proficiency in information security, risk, control, audit, and compliance.
  6. Familiarity with current security tools, processes, and techniques.
  7. Understands ISO 27001, ITIL, COBIT, CIS, PCI DSS, OWASP, and NIST frameworks.
  8. A certification such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or a degree in Information Security and risk.
