Job Description Must be eligible for Security Clearance Our Data Practice delivers exciting projects through data-driven, digital transformation for our customers. We support from pre-sales through to delivery and have a strong focus on solving real customer challenges and deriving true customer benefit with the ultimate goal of benefiting society and driving meaningful digital and cultural change. Our Senior Data Architects will be coached to grow from both a technical and soft skills perspective, plus have the chance to progress their career through the data architecture track or move to other domains of architecture or generalist career track. Key Responsibilities Work closely with stakeholders to execute discoveries and understand their needs and develop data-driven solutions that are scalable, highly performant, and available, communicating data architecture and findings clearly and concisely. Apply data architecture design to solve complex problems such as designing and implementing enterprise-wide data architectures that align with business and technology strategies. Develop data models (conceptual, logical, and physical) for databases, data lakes, and warehouses. Integrate data with other systems and platforms through APIs and middleware, including integrating data from multiple sources, structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data. Contribute to the productionization of new data capabilities/solutions through prototyping, requirements setting, and implementation. Deliver customer value through understanding the context within which data solutions are being deployed. Qualifications 5+ years of data experience with at least 2+ years of relevant data architecture experience within the public and/or private sectors. Experience in designing and supporting implementation of Data Platforms (Azure, AWS, Informatica, etc.). Implementation knowledge of data modeling techniques such as Kimball Dimensional, Star Schema, Data Vault, and Graph Model. Experience with Cloud Data and DataOps Solutions, especially with Azure or AWS stack, with proficiency in event streaming architectures such as Azure Event Hubs or Apache Kafka. Experience with Big Data Solutions like Hadoop and Cassandra. Experience in Information Management, Data Architecture with compliance frameworks such as GDPR, ISO 22701, or industry-specific frameworks. Exposure to working with frameworks like TOGAF, DAMA, etc., and architecture modeling tools like Draw-io, Visio, BizzDesign, Archi, or SparxEA. Lead and guide implementation teams and coach junior team members through strong interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication. Contribute to the wider Data Practice by supporting pre-sales and generating offers and accelerators. Proactive, self-starter with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, committed to continuous learning and development, plus knowledge sharing. Contribute to wider industry standards in data, i.e., open-source application development, or participate in data architecture forums, or professional certifications in data architecture.
