Lead Data Engineer (AWS, Glue, Athena) £95,000 - £100,000 pa + Benefits + Bonus Central London with Hybrid Working JNC are working closely with a growing financial services organisation in London that are looking to bring on a talented Lead Data Engineer with strong Python and data-focused AWS expertise. The Lead Data Engineer will provide technical leadership and mentoring for a team of 6 software engineers responsible for developing and maintaining the client's data platform. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in Data Engineering using AWS-related technologies as well as relevant team mentoring and technical leadership experience. Experience working with Data Lakes, particularly AWS LakeFormation. Experience working with Glue and AWS Athena. Experience working with EventBridge, SNS, and SQS. Experience with Lambda, S3, Step Functions, and DynamoDB. Experience working with CI/CD. Strong DevOps skills and capabilities. Understanding of IaC and technologies like Terraform. Any experience with Redshift would be a bonus but is not essential.
