Senior Data Operations Manager, Cirium (Hybrid)

About the Team: You will lead a dedicated and knowledgeable Fleets research team, guiding them to develop their skills, focusing on developing efficient processes and tools to acquire, process and publish our data. You will have excellent transformational skills and be able to define and share metrics to demonstrate data quality, progress, opportunities, and risk. About the Role: Cirium’s datasets are under constant review and improvement. We are embarking on a change program to focus on the efficient and scalable tools required to maintain our datasets in the AI world. This position will focus on leadership, culture, motivation, and developing team capability and a continuous improvement mindset. The role will shape strategy to transform our processes, collaborating with teams and senior stakeholders across the business. Your team will be a blend of hybrid and home-based workers, spread across the UK or Internationally. Responsibilities: Act as a change agent for data-driven decision making, advocating development of best practices and tooling. Work with peers and leaders to create a vision for the department to embed analytics across teams. Experiment with AI and automation to improve efficiencies and resource utilization. Create, maintain, and enhance metrics to support the development/reporting of your team. Challenge others in the business to think and act differently. Build relationships across the business for yourself and your team. Prioritize data activity and resources on commercially important areas, while maintaining quality. Provide direction and guidance with time and workload management. Key Skills: Experienced People Leader capable of leading teams and multiple projects. Excellent presentation of data insights and metrics to the wider business and clients. Ability to guide data-driven decision making, rooted in a thorough understanding of our customers and markets. Coach and mentor your team to drive critical thinking and development focus. Excellent cross-departmental communication and collaboration skills.
