Data Science Audit Manager
2 days a week in Birmingham, Edinburgh or London
£90K-£120K
As a Senior Internal Audit Manager – Data Science & Reporting, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference to the business by providing Data Science and reporting expertise to support their strategic audit assurance, enhancing their capability to provide influential insight which challenges the effectiveness of the risk, governance and control environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Management of the delivery of the Data Analytics (DA) development plan (including Data Science support such as Data sourcing, Data Analytics, Data Visualisations, AI, management of DA/AI tools and training/coaching on DA to wider team)
- Data Governance & Systems development (e.g. Annual Planning, Working paper and Scheduling)
- Annual Planning & Management Committee reporting, including Opinion Reporting and action tracking framework
- Providing internal project management support (including IA systems migrations, as and when required).
Key Requirements:
- Degree, ideally in applied maths subject (e.g. Data Science / AI, Statistics, Computer Science, Big Data, Engineering, Physics, Economics, Maths)) with a minimum of 5 years Post Qualified Experience.
- Knowledge of developing and embedding data analytics / AI tools.
- Knowledge of data analysis tools such as Python or R, SQL, Big Data, BI tool (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI, QuickSight, Qlik) would we desirable
- Previous Leadership experience required, with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
- Good regulatory awareness, understanding the impact of regulations on your portfolio.
- Previous Internal Audit, External Audit, Risk Assurance experience required, ideally within a large Financial Services organisation
