Position Overview: The Senior Database Administrator (DBA) is responsible for overseeing all aspects of database management, with a focus on maintaining and updating customer production data needs. As a senior member of the team, this role includes providing technical guidance & direction to other DBAs within the IT department. The Senior Database Administrator collaborates with Endpoint production teams to handle release and change management, deploy new releases, perform software and database data updates (including customer data support), create ad hoc and automated data reports and transfers, and address database performance issues. Responsibilities: Provide technical leadership and hands-on database administration. Plan, develop, and implement high-availability database strategies, capacity planning, performance tuning, and site monitoring. Migrate database objects from development to production environments. Use SQL scripting, reporting, and analysis services to support the application development teams. Document detailed configurations of production and development environments. Participate in the planning, implementation, and testing of database recovery procedures under the disaster recovery plan. Perform software troubleshooting in a timely manner. Support production, staging, development, and disaster recovery requirements, including handling daily customer-driven minor system configuration change requests. Implement database change controls & service requests. Provide technical guidance & direction for developing the DBA team, implementing and ensuring consistent coding designs, standards, and procedures across the team. Provide 24/7 emergency production support as needed. Availability for on-call work as part of a regular schedule and as required. Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience. Experience: 4-7 years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2008+ in a production administration. Strong knowledge of SQL Server high-availability solutions and clustered environments. Extensive experience writing T-SQL stored procedures and performing query optimization and tuning. Skills: Proven ability to interact effectively with both technical and functional project team members. Strong multitasking skills, with the ability to manage shifting priorities. Process and detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Previous experience working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment is preferred. Strong attention to detail. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Proven technical leadership abilities with database code designs, standards, and procedures. Salary:

$100,000 - $140,000 a year Benefits:
