Purpose of the Role Xodus continues to grow its decommissioning support offering to the energy industry and we have a need for a senior Environmental Consultant to join our UK-based Environment Division. Working as a key member of our Environmental Impact Assessment team, you will manage and deliver a diverse portfolio of decommissioning projects. There will also be the opportunity to support our work in the wider Environment team, including projects in areas such as renewables, cables, and oil and gas development, both in the UK and globally. You will have the chance to work on innovative projects with a sustainability focus and contribute to cutting-edge solutions across sectors. This role offers a high level of responsibility and autonomy, allowing you to manage projects and lead teams, fostering professional growth and development. Qualifications and Competencies Enthusiastic environmental professional with demonstrable decommissioning experience. Knowledge of marine environment, ecology, policy, and impact assessment. Working knowledge of offshore legislation. Strong project management skills. Excellent technical writing skills. Demonstrable experience in effectively liaising with clients / regulators / stakeholders. Minimum bachelor’s degree level training in a relevant discipline e.g., environment, chemistry, engineering. Excellent communication and influencing skills. Eligible to work in the United Kingdom. Desirable Experience Involvement in reviewing and consulting on relevant legislation.
