Job Description The Senior Delivery Lead will oversee highly complex Technology projects spanning multiple systems and impacting various Heathrow departments and external stakeholders. The role also involves working with Technology Service Delivery teams to ensure seamless integration of new Technology into operational service. Providing Technology leadership across the entire portfolio and project lifecycle, this position requires close partnership with senior business leaders, sponsors, and the airline community to co-create future capabilities. By leveraging innovation and technology, the role aims to drive transformative changes in ways of working. Responsibilities Leadership of the Technology Portfolio within the Strategic Programme including ICS Design and Delivery as well as the Technology Projects forming Tranche 'X' of the Programme. Working with the overall H7 programme manager and other stakeholders to plan and design the Technology Project Portfolio and ensure that these integrate with the overall programme. Facilitating the development of the Technology blueprint as well as managing the Technology blueprint and ensuring that the capabilities delivered are aligned with it. Managing the Technology Project Portfolio and day-to-day management of the Technology Project Portfolio within the overall Programme. Managing the Technology Project Portfolio budget, monitoring the expenditures and costs against benefits as the projects progress. Organising and chairing the Technology Project Portfolio Steering Group. Working with the Technology Service Delivery teams to ensure a smooth transition of new Technology into Service. Ensuring that the delivery of outputs or services from the Technology projects meet overall programme requirements and is to the appropriate quality, on time and within budget. Qualifications Experience of delivering programmes/projects in a complex and fast-paced environment. Previous experience of working in an outsourced model either as a client or supplier. Accountability for all aspects of project delivery including financial management and commercial negotiation. The ability to influence and lead competing partner expectations, proven verbal and written communication and influencing skills. Able to cope with conflicting challenges and seek appropriate support or framework. Be comfortable at challenging the norms constructively. Ideally, you'll have: Previous experience of programme management using the Managing Successful Programmes (MSP) framework. Experience of successful engagement with senior and challenging internal and external partners. Experience of working either in aviation, logistics and/or regulatory environment. Working Location Our Hybrid working approach offers the opportunity for colleagues in some roles to work from home for an average of two days a week, providing the flexibility to work in an agile way whilst ensuring we deliver for the operational needs of Heathrow. Working arrangements vary from team to team and will be confirmed during the recruitment process. You'll need to be based in the UK and within a commutable distance to Heathrow.
