Change Delivery Your new role at NewDay The Product & Change Delivery team is approximately 100 people strong, at the forefront of the major change and programme delivery that drives NewDay forward. You will be personable with outstanding communication skills. This role is a 12 month maternity cover, looking to start as soon as possible. You'll deliver End-to-end delivery of our complex, strategically important programmes to achieve the company's key goals - these range from digital initiatives across e-commerce and e-servicing, new product launches, regulatory initiatives, technology advancements and large commercial projects such as new business lines. Leadership of matrix delivery teams to solve difficult problems and find the optimum way of achieving the outcome. A focus on managing exceptions by embedding risk management techniques at the heart of your delivery. Leadership across internal NewDay teams and external 3rd party partners and suppliers to understand the key integration points to line up and deliver dependencies. Engagement with a variety of partners; build strong working relationships up to senior level (including regular engagement with ExCo) to ensure their continued consensus and engagement, and to drive timely decision making. Ensure hygiene factors such as planning, estimating, governance, reporting, resourcing, budgeting, financial reconciliation and regular retrospectives to identify ways to optimise delivery are completed to the highest standards. What you'll bring We need knowledge, experience + expertise in: Leading and supporting project teams of cross functional specialists. Programme Management experience. Large scale change and delivery in markets in which digital products, services and capabilities are becoming dominant. Experience delivering migrations. Exceptional organisational skills with experience managing and working within budgets and time-pressured environments. Agile and lean advocacy, able to adapt frameworks for new projects and share knowledge and understanding. Flexibility and able to tailor a delivery methodology and framework to a project's needs. Great facilitation, diplomacy and negotiation skills, enabling you to have difficult but constructive conversations with partners and your colleagues. Outstanding communication skills and able to tailor your message to suit your audience's needs. And would love you to know or learn: Passionate about business value and customer needs, with the insight to articulate what success looks like, why it looks like that and how to measure it. Experience working within change management policy and governance. Proficient in Jira and Confluence. Management and evolution of portfolio management tools. Passionate about continuous improvement.
