Your new role Your new role as a Senior R&D Engineer will involve managing design projects and developing new products for the company. You will oversee projects from concept through to design, support build, and installation. Coordination with colleagues to support the sales team with technical specifications, site visits, and technical advice will be a key part of your role. Regular meetings with the Engineering Manager and Design Team will ensure effective communication of information related to potential business improvement initiatives. You will produce project status reports and other information required by the Management Team to inform you about financial, sales, and operational planning.

What you'll need to succeed What you'll need to succeed is a good standard of education, including English and Maths, with at least five years of design experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly in quarries and recycling equipment. Alternatively, a degree in an Engineering discipline with four years of relevant design experience is acceptable. Proficiency in CAD design and product development experience is essential. You should have an awareness of relevant safety standards and manufacturing processes.
