Senior Design Engineer . This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of design projects, from developing new products to production support, while collaborating across technical and manufacturing teams.

As a Senior Design Engineer, you will be instrumental in driving innovation, ensuring accuracy in production documentation, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions. This role is perfect for someone with a strong technical background who thrives in a collaborative environment.

Role Purpose & Key Responsibilities

Develop new product designs using 3D CAD software (preferably SolidWorks). Modify existing designs to improve performance and efficiency. Conduct FEA, stress calculations, and design verification. Support production teams with design needs, including jig design and technical input. Generate accurate production drawings, bills of materials, and design reports. Liaise with customers regarding design approvals and feedback. Collaborate with the Design & Technical Manager on project actions.

Candidate Requirements Degree or equivalent qualification in engineering. Strong experience with 3D CAD software, preferably SolidWorks. Proven track record in a similar design engineering role. Knowledge of FEA and stress calculation methodologies. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team.
