Senior Design Engineer
Plymouth, Commutable from: Tavistock, Ivybridge, Saltash, Yelverton
Up to £50,000 per annum + Bonus + Early Finish on Friday + Pension + Extra Benefits
Excellent opportunity for an individual with experience in mechanical systems design to join a market-leading, international company.
The company is a well-established, highly revered manufacturing company in the Plymouth area with sites across the world that not only are renowned for the quality of their products but also for being a leading and progressive employer within the area. Due to growth, they are currently looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join the team.
The Role: Working directly with the customers, you will be responsible for all mechanical aspects of the design including static load, dynamic load, and vibration. DFMEA, Six Sigma, implement continuous improvement. Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30pm, 3:30pm finish on Fridays.
The Person: Mechanical engineering discipline. Experience with Creo & Windchill software or Autodesk Inventor & Vault. Knowledge of electrical or cooling systems design would be an advantage.
