My client based in Halifax is looking for a Senior Structural Design Engineer to join their team. They are experts in structural steel built on 50 years of experience.
Responsibilities
Undertake design work to specification and agreed Eurocode standards. Liaising with structural engineers, architects, and design managers. Design administration and project coordination. Work to company QA procedures. Maintain a high standard of design service. Maintain great relationships with clients and achieve excellent feedback. Required Experience
Degree educated, ideally working towards incorporated or chartered status. Minimum 10 years' experience in structural steelwork design. Experienced in structural steelwork member design and steelwork connection design. Conversant in using Tekla Structural Designer, Tekla Portal Designer, and Masterseries design software. Experience in designing temporary works would be advantageous. Familiar with working to the Eurocodes for design. Must be able to work on their own initiative, raise necessary queries, and co-ordinate information with clients, engineers, architects, and subcontractors.
